[here is a question from my 8 year old niece, Milo, who LOVES Stella4D. I don't know how to answer him (and I have a graduate degree in Math...) - thanks, Perrin]
I am having a problem with stella.
When I want to see a pentachoron* I only see a tetrahedron. Same with
the tesseract. The icositetrachoron** only shows a cube. What
shoud*** I do to fix it?
*A pentachoron is a 4-simplex.
**An icositetrachoron is a polychoron with 24 4-facets (cells).
***Mixed brain from too much imformation. Now you see mixes.

Hmm, not sure. If you had the cross-section view selected, or the cell view, then you'd be looking at a 3D model, but not quite the ones you describe.
In 4D views cells are reduced in size by default so that you can see the internal structure better, but if you scaled them up to full size it would just look like a 3D model, however that setting resets when you restart the program.
If you think there's a problem, please post a screenshot (of the whole window) and I'll see what I can tell from it.
Rob.
