Polyhedral dog toy

For general discussion of polyhedra, not necessarily Stella-specific.

Polyhedral dog toy

Post by robertw » Sun Nov 23, 2008 11:28 am

Hi,

I just picked up a rubber first stellation of the rhombic dodecahedron at the supermarket, being marketed as a dog toy! :D Might be Australian only since it's got Dr Harry on the front.

Luckily I don't have a dog :-)

I've got 4 dogs. How can I get one? I live in Mexico.

I have no idea. Not even sure if they're still in the shops here. I'll have a look next time I'm there. If you were happy to cover costs incl. postage I suppose I could buy one and send it.

They had other shapes, but the others weren't so polyhedral. They also had other colours, but I forget now what was available.

But start by just looking in the pet aisle at your local supermarket. You never know, they might have something similar.

Thanks for checking. I think postage would swamp the value. Anyway I'll check locally. Probably my dogs will have to make do with balls and rags with knots tied in them :)
