Iquipadah section

I would like to see the .5 section of iquipadah as seen in the pic.

Image

the octagon with square hole could first be subdivided into four squares and four triangles.

Here's an idea that might help Stella render these "unStellable" scaliforms and compounds, could we not only define the vertex figure, but also give it a cover figure to help Stella find the polychoron - here's an example, for sistakix - we could take Hi's verf, and find the embedded 10-tet verf wit...

Re: "New" scaliforms

AH I remember these scaliforms, I call these sistakix and gastakix (short for small and great snub 3600choron), found these in Oct 2005 - sorry not new  but no sections have been seen yet - hope that Stella can one day take them on. Boy, no matter where you walk in four-space, you run across ...

Another idea would be to make a 'duplicate object by rotation about the center' feature - for example: Lets say you wanted to make a compound of 5 icoes - start with ico (vertex centered), (rotate xy 36 degrees rotate zw 36 degrees) duplicate ico, (rotate xy and zw another 36 degrees) duplicate ico...

Re: My first venture

http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh225/Squeaky2011/IMG_0017.jpg Everything was O.K. till I tried to fit the triangles ... Eventually I made a cardboard model, of the whole thing, and worked out the mitre angles with a 'knife and fork'. I've once used the same polyhedron to make a panoramic view, ...

This "ten-gax" looks incredible, I hope to one day see the swirl ten-gax which belongs to the infinite gax swirl compound family - to obtain it, start with gax (vertex oriented), swirl it 7.2 degrees (rotate xy plane 7.2 degrees and rotate zw plane 7.2 degrees) add another gax (in original orientati...

Come to think of it, that polyhedron seen in the phpbb logo would also make a cool board

You ought to really get us on the next upgrade, make it where it yawns during those still moments most of the time, but once in a while - you here a screaming "WWWAAAAKE UP!!!"

We could break up quith's octagram arms in half, making them look like two tetragons - like so:

The No-Flag Challenge

One great idea for a feature would be the "no-flag challenge" - here you would need to solve the boards without using any flags - I've done this a few times, it adds a new feel to the game - this would be interesting as a feature where local and world records could be kept.

Sound "Effects"

Here, I'm not refering to the sound effects themselves, but the effect that the sounds have on you when you win or lose - For example: Every thing is so peaceful and quite as you're solving one of the boards, then when you least expect it - you hit a mine - EXPLOSION , I usually jump out of m...

Ideas For New Boards

In this thread, lets list out some polyhedra that would make great boards for the future. Here are some of my picks: Sidtid = small ditrigonary icosidodecahedron Socco = small cubicuboctahedron Sroh = small rhombihexahedron Hexagon Prism Pentagon Antiprism Net of hexagon duoprism Quith = quasitrunca...
