I made this using the tutorial.

Its a compound of 60 great rhombicuboctahedra. I don't know how many facelets it has for obvious reasons.

Another idea I had would be to be able to edit one part of a compound by itself. It would be where if you pressed a button or selected it from a menu the veiw would be changed to be seeing one part of the compound. The symmetry would change to suit the part. Any editing (stellation, facetind. etc) w...

You can make octahedral and tetrahedral archimedian compounds from these by morph duals (Usually truncation). You can also facet them to make other uniform solids but its quite hard on complex polyhedra. (You probably already knew this but I just wanted to say :D )

I didn't notice that.

Colour change in net lines would be quite nice but uninportant. (Probably the only real use is for white compounds (and even thats not that important))

Just checked red, and yellow lines on dark blue. Red and green came out as a slightly more visible black. On black red and green worked well. I also found that thicker lines were also very effective but they may lead to innacuracy.

Change colour of printed net lines.

Sometimes I want to print on very dark paper but it is very hard to see the black lines on it. If I was using navy blue paper, for example, I would want to change the colour slightly orange. If I was using very dark red paper I would use slightly green lines. It is a very small change but I am endin...

I finally found some angled tweezers and made my first sucsessful double tabbed model (A hexagonal prism (Not sure why this one hadn't been done)). There's still a few rough edges but I'm getting there!

Got some better glue that dries almost instantly.
Now I just need some angled tweezers. : )

Thanks for your help. My glue isn't that good for model making, its stringy and takes around ten minutes to set.

A 3-fold dihedral variation of the compound of 3 cubes. Only 108 facelets but it gets quite hard near the end. Heres a picture:

Double Tabs.

I use single tabs but they make my paper go soggy, the lines blur and you can somtimes see them through the paper. I want to use double tabs but when I do my models end up with large cracks in the sides. I fold the tabs, put glue on them both and then use tweezers to squeeze them together but they j...

How smooth is the ball point without the ink? I'd always assumed that the ink would act as a lubricant. It's smooth enough, I just don't like ink on my models What is the polyhedron in your avatar? I forgot, it was just a result of an experiment in stella. I forgot to save it as well. Have you got a...

Material - Coloured paper of varying thickness. Scissors/knife - Scissors. Scoring edges - A ball point pen with out any ink. (EDIT I use a craft knife now) Glue - Precision UHU. Applying glue - Precision part of fast dry glue container. Single/double tabs - I use double tabs for joining large-medi...
