Re: Update the 4D libraries to reorganize and add new uniform polychora, plus demonstrations on polychora symmetries

And many compounds can't be generated from a verf so they have to provide the whole polychoron (in OFF so it can be opened in other programs like Miratope) instead.
Correction: There are 2191 known uniform polychora now.

Re: Stella4D vs. Miratope for 4D element types

J37 is easy enough to build in Stella4D. Load J37 then use "4D->Create 4D Prism on Current Polyhedron".

Maybe your instinct is better, but it's not immediately obvious to me when it gets types wrong, eg in spittid. Takes me some playing around to see the pentagonal prisms come in two types. So ...

Re: Stella4D vs. Miratope for 4D element types

Yes, siggissido has 5 cell types, 9 face types, 6 edge types, and 1 vertex type according to miratope but only 7 face types and 4 edge types according to Stella4D. Here's the link for OFF files for some of the idtessids: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... JUcZj4MX4D

Re: Stella4D vs. Miratope for 4D element types

There's obviously its conjugate, spiddit, and several idtessids.
Stella obviously fails at J37 prism. You can build it in Miratope using this OFF file: https://polytope.miraheze.org/wiki/File:Elongated_square_gyrobicupola.off

EDIT: Here's the link to my fork of Miratope: https://github.com/H-A-M-G ...

Stella4D vs. Miratope for 4D element types

Generally, Miratope tends to be more accurate in distinguishing element types than Stella4D for non-compounds. While spittid has 3 element types according to Miratope, Stella4D counts only 2. Also, Miratope can fake out several pseudo-uniforms that Stella4D can't.
There's one edge case that Miratope ...

No, I don't have Wine or Linux. Let us know if you figure it out.
It's very easy to install Ubuntu on a Windows PC. Follow these instructions: https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/install-ub ... 1-overview

Re: Update the 4D libraries to reorganize and add new uniform polychora, plus demonstrations on polychora symmetries

Obviously when new discoveries are made the 4D library gets outdated.
Use this collection of OFF files of polychora instead which is updated: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DrGRp2SluE3nlMGaXgxdOXaXpOSLQOZi
It even includes caco which shares the same vertex figure as srohp! Those OFF files ...
