OK, I can live with that ... a minor thing when compared to the abilities of the program, and when i stop bouncing around inside it so much and settle down on detailed projects, that niggle will disappear.
Thanks for the Default Scene tip, I will give that a try,

That was quick, and so easy when you know how! I was expecting to have to measure individual angles, this give me the whole lot in one go ... perfect.
Now I have all the information to build a jig for cutting the compound mitres at the end of wooden edge sticks to create Leonardo models ...
