Re: Truncation Rotation
I know the last comment is more than a decade old, but I want this.

Re: How hard would it be to compute true filling?
The empty space around the polyhedron is also considered as a region. For orientable polyhedra, this is the same as density filling, for non-orientables its more complicated. For uniform polyhedra I think that binary filling works, but for other polyhedra which are non-orientable but not uniform, it ...

Re: How hard would it be to compute true filling?
No, I mean if you had a four-shaped thing and transformed it so that it didn't intersect itself, you would've transformed the even density region in the four's intersection into an odd density region.

How hard would it be to compute true filling?
True filling is filling regions of a polytope if they can be continuously transformed into a region of odd density. How feasible is this in practice?

Re: More faceting criteria
Not being tame is weird. Pseudofaces look like exotic polygons (more than 2 edges per vertex) and their shells (locally convex hulls retaining the edges of a polytope) are exotic as well which is why some people think they should be excluded from polyhedron definitions. Only allowing tame polychora ...

Ability to change default autocolor scheme
The autocolor color scheme is a bit of an eyesore I don't see a way to change it. My only other option is to change colors manually which is tedious and not practical so I just want to be able to change the default color scheme.

Re: Ability to facet vertex figures/edge facet
Both ideas are the same actually, since the vertices of a vertex figure correspond to edges on a polyhedron. For 4d polychora, you might also want to implement the ability to edge facet vertex figures, to have polychora which share the same faces.

Re: More faceting criteria
Here is a good demonstration of the principle of non-regular vertex transitive faces and of having three or more coplanar edges that meet on a vertex.
The yellow faces have vertex transitivity (with a 2-fold dihedral symmetry) even though there are two edge lengths. The red faces are also ...

How to you make base polyhedron view stels
I've been trying to make stel files with the silver rods and golden spheres but I don't know how to do it. I wanted a faceting of a polyhedron but I don't know how to transform it into base polyhedron view.

Super-holey faceting of icosahedron
I found this polyhedron while going through facetings of the snub tetrahedron/icosahedron. Has anyone seen this before? I find this faceting to be especially odd as it is toroidal, nonconvex but has no intersections, and there are pieces which are connected only by points.

Ability to facet vertex figures/edge facet
I think it would be pretty useful if you can facet vertex figures, or have a faceting which retains the edges of a polytope.

More faceting criteria
A faceting criterion to exclude non-tame polyhedra (no three edges which meet at a vertex are coplanar) and a faceting criterion to exclude any polyhedron with non-vertex-transitive faces. The only criterion which reduces the amount of polyhedra found by faceting by a significant amount is ...
