Re: Selecting issue
Both shifts and double click all produce the same result, even when I map the shift key to a mouse button. It seems ctrl left click is also sometimes effected. Obviously is something specific to my machine.

Re: Selecting issue
Update on this selecting issue:
It seems to be happening now with the regular selection tool as well, but only the shift left click and no other combination. Any leads?

Re: Calculating duals
I was looking at the 3D implementation of it, and that menu option did fix the problem. Thanks!

Re: Calculating duals
I see what your saying, but since the vertices of this bidex vertex figure all lie on a sphere, shouldn't stella pick the center of that sphere? That would solve the J2 problem also.

Calculating duals
I was looking at the vertex figure of the scaliform polychoron "bidex", and I noticed that when stella makes the dual it comes out a little skewed. It's supposed to be self-dual (as can be seen by the cell of the dual of bidex and because it's both a partial stellation of the dodecahedron and a part...

Re: Selecting issue
It happens in measurement mode selecting any type of element, and it will instead select a completely different element can be of different type. It's consistent in that any given element will always produce the same selection results. It's any polyhedron even simplest (but not with 4D that works fi...

Re: Selecting issue
It is higher dpi, but I'm very exact in my selecting. Also it's not selecting something behind, it's selecting a completely different element, and only when I click directly on an element. In faceting it's only a problem in "faceting mode", but with measuring tool it's always a problem.

Selecting issue
Hi,
I just got a new computer and installed Stella 4d with the same installer that I had before, but I'm having a new issue that when I try to select vertices (measuring or faceting) it will often select something else instead of the vertex I was intending to select.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: New Uniform Polychora
Can someone post the .stel files on this forum? Just put them in .zip and they will post just fine. Thanks

Category 26
Category 26 from Bower's webpage seems to be totally missing from the Stella4D library. I created the verfs of first 2 (1462 and 1463) very easily by augmenting inwards the siddapady verf with the tigaghi verf. Files are attached.

Re: 4D stellations
I've had some success with these stellations, I just have one more question (for now): Is there an easy way to reverse a polyhedron's orientation in a given symmetry (tetrahedral for example) to correctly blend it with another model. What I have been doing (which only works sometimes) is to export i...

Re: 4D stellations
I used a more exact calculation for the inradius and it solved the problem. I think the pieces that were supposed to line up didn't because it wasn't exact enough.

Re: 4D stellations
So I figured out a convoluted way to do it: First I used the arcsine of height of the dual from vertex first projection to another level of vertices divided by the chord length to that vertex. That gives me the angle to tangent realm. Then I used one over the cosine of that angle times half of that ...
