I used wire. I don't think thread would work in this case. I used 1/2" pieces of 28 guage black wire bent at an angle. I plan on making a large one out of solid pieces of wood. drilling holes will be tricky.

I had fun making this model because it wasn't obvious what color went where. Also when you look at it you can turn it just a tad and it looks like a totally different model.
I think a small one would be very difficult to make.

Thanks. It worked. this was something I have been trying to do and just kept mising a step or 2. It almost worked the way I wanted except one edge hits. I have to rework my facet. It won't make any other views though. no nets or anything. Is this normal on an augment?

I am trying to make a compound but am unable to find the procedure. I have a faceted tetrahedra that I want to make into a compound 5. Thanks for any help.

I saw this on Wed. and just loved it. Now I am wanting to make more faceted poly.
At first I was using 6 colors but had to use 8. 3 faces of each color. Has anyone else made one?
