Wax polyhedra!

I've mostly stuck to paper polyhedra, but I did once try my hand at polyhedral candles, made from wax. Here's one I made:

And here it is still in the mold:

The idea was for the mold to be reusable, but it didn't turn out that way. I did use it for a second candle, but it didn't work as well. I used paper from milk cartons. Good at holding liquid, and I hoped the waxed paper would make it easy to remove from the mold, but the paper absorbed a fair bit of wax too and so wasn't that easy to get it out.

I did manage to make a second candle from the same mold, but it was a bit wonkier!
